Search for what you need, pick your dates, and send a request. The owner confirms, you both confirm the handoff in the app, and payment is released to the owner after the return is confirmed. Owners keep 85% of the rental price.
What is the deposit hold?
A refundable hold is placed on your payment method when the rental starts and released when the item comes back in the condition it left in. It is a hold, not a charge — the full amount and release timing are shown before you book.
What does the included renter protection cover?
Every rental booked and paid on Got it Rent it includes renter protection as part of the booking. Protection, the held deposit and dispute help apply only to rentals completed on the platform — deals taken off-platform have none of them.
